What great news for international students – the Australian borders are finally opening after two years. From 15 December 2021, fully vaccinated international students can enter Australia and resume their studies physically in the land down under. With this news, our team at Nurse Assist International is fully prepared to welcome you to Australia and help internationally qualified nurses with OBA assessment preparation.
Outcome-Based Assessment (OBA) is the accelerated pathway for overseas registered nurses to get Australian Nursing registration. It is a two-stage assessment process consisting of NCLEX_RN and OSCE exams. At Nurse Assist International, we offer one of the best OBA preparatory classes delivered by experienced faculty members.
When the borders were closed during the lockdown period, we delivered online classes to international students worldwide. The best part for us during this period was that upon completing the preparation course online, our students were able to sit their NCLEX_RN test in their home country as it is delivered at dedicated Pearson VUE test centres in most countries around the world.
With most of our students’ NCLEX_RN tests now cleared, it is finally time for the OSCE test. Unfortunately, since OSCE is held only at the University of Adelaide in Australia, students couldn’t take this test. However, with the opening of the border, most of our students are now ready to take the OSCE exam.
We are now ready to run our face-to-face classes for our students. If you have already started your preparation course with us online, you can continue your course in class after arriving in Australia. You can start from where you left off – your friendly tutor will recommence the course from where the lesson finished last time. If needed, your tutor will cover the previous class materials.
If you have already completed your online classes and are waiting to book your exams but feel you need one revision class, we will be happy to arrange it for you. As soon as you arrive in Australia, just send us an email, and we will get back to arrange a revision class.
If you have just started exploring the OBA pathway to get your Nursing registration in Australia, you are on the right track. You will save a lot of time (three years nursing course vs 13-weeks course) and money by taking this path. In addition, you can prepare for the OBA assessment and NCLEX_RN and OSCE exams with Nurse Assist International, one of Australia’s leading OBA preparatory course providers.
Remember to bring the following documents from your home country, which is required for Nursing registration application:
- Overseas Nursing Qualification (transcripts and completion certificate)
- Overseas Nursing registration certificate
- Experience Letter
